We are a friendly community of Waldorf-inspired homeschoolers. Although each family approaches their homeschooling independently, as a group we particularly value these elements:
- a creative, low-media childhood
- plenty of time in nature, handwork, art and seasonal festivals
- cultivating supportive, consistent relationships
We meet primarily on Fridays during the spring and fall semesters, alternating between two locations in Nashville. Specific activities and classes are determined each year by the needs and desires of the families involved. While we welcome families with students of all ages, the current class ranges from toddlers to early teens. As a parent-powered group, we invite each member to consider what he or she can contribute, as well as what they may gain by their participation.
